Which products or categories does my promotional code apply to?

That depends on the specific promotion. Some promotional codes only apply to certain product categories (e.g. garden, furniture, storage), others apply to everything. You can always find the scope of application in the promotion details on our homepage – it clearly states what is included and what is not.

Do vouchers also apply to discounted items?

Yes. Our promotional and voucher codes generally also apply to already discounted items. If a promotion is not combinable, this is stated clearly.

Are vouchers applicable to shipping costs?

• Delivery addresses in Germany: There are no shipping costs. Vouchers are therefore only applied to the value of the goods (not to shipping costs – as there are none).
• Delivery addresses abroad: If shipping costs apply, these are not reduced by promotional/voucher codes. Codes always only apply to the value of the goods.

Example (international shipping):

• Value of goods: €200
• Voucher: –€20
• International shipping: €15
• Amount to pay: €200 – €20 + €15 = €195

Can I pass a voucher on to friends or family?

In most cases, yes. Our general promotional codes (e.g. from the homepage or newsletter) are not restricted to specific individuals and can be passed on.

What happens to my promotional code if I return an item?

In the case of a return, we refund you the amount you actually paid (that is, after deduction of the voucher). The promotional code used is considered redeemed and expires – it will not be reissued automatically.

Example (full return, domestic):

• Value of goods:                           €200
• Discount through promotional code:     €20
• Paid:                                €180
• Refund for full return: €180

Do I get the discount amount from the promotional code refunded or only the amount actually paid when returning an item?

You will be refunded the amount actually paid – that is, the value of the goods minus the promotional code & discount. The discount amount itself is not paid out separately or reactivated.
